Facing the Kansas City Royals on September 17, 2008, Ichiro Suzuki quietly ties one of baseball’s oldest records. Ichiro notched his 200th hit this evening, making it 8 straight seasons with 200 or more hits. This accomplishment is a new American League record and ties Willie Keeler’s 107 year record.
